Christine Casey Christine Casey is the founder of Dragon’s Eye Tours and your Tour Guide. Her passions are ancient history, legend, mythology, pilgrimage, archaeology, sacred sites, the mysteries and magic and she has a particularly strong connection to the lands of her ancestors - England, Cornwall, Wales, Ireland and France. For most of the year she lives inAustralia. A traditionally initiated Wiccan priestess of the Alexandrian tradition, Christine has much experience leading rituals and guided meditations and teaching the ways of the Craft. With a deep love and interest in Celtic and pre-Celtic history, Christine has spent years researching sacred places in Britain and France visiting many ancient sites and collecting their stories and traditions. This tour will cover some of the most beautiful and significant of these including a few lesser known to the general public. Her deep reverence, infectious enthusiasm and in-depth knowledge will make this tour a truly special experience. An ardent and experienced world traveller, she has lived and worked in various countries including the UK, Switzerland, Sri Lanka and New Zealand. Over the years, Christine has been employed as a recruitment consultant, journalist and as a senior executive assistant working in both the private sector and government. This included a 10 year stint working overseas in Australian embassies. Most recently she worked in the community sector and now cares for her elderly parents on a full-time basis. Christine is down-to-earth, great fun, and loves all animals especially cats. She is widely read particularly in the fields of archaeology, history and modern paganism and reads tarot. Gede Parma Gede is a founder an initiated priest of the WildWood Tradition of witchcraft and has much experience facilitating and leading rituals and presenting workshops. He is also a consecrated priest unto the Goddesses Persephone and Aphrodite. A published author of the books "Spirited: Taking Paganism Beyond the Circle" (Llewellyn 2009) and the editor and compiler of "Crafting the Community" (Conjunction Press 2009), his third book on paganism and witchcraft will be published in October 2010. He is also a feature writer for Spellcraft magazine and a staff writer for Copper Moon E-zine. An extraordinarily talented young man, Gede has a passion for natural healing and health, divination (specifically tarot and palmistry), feminism, ancient history, pagan traditions and philosophy, indigenous rights, dance and vegan/vegetarian food. He was born in Bali and grew up in Australia in a spiritually-oriented household with a Balinese Hindu father and a highly intuitive mother of Celtic descent. He weaves a priestly and syncretistic path incorporating aspects of British Traditional witchcraft, Stregheria, Faeriecraft, Hellenismos and Wildwood. He is currently completing a Balchelor of Health Sciences in Western Herbal Medicine and Naturopathy and eventually would like to work in a mutli-modality clinic.
